General tool revisions
WRI initiated changes to its suite of mobile combustion tools. These changes are ultimately aimed at increasing usability and at ensuring the calculation methodologies are consistent with international best-practices. Most notably, WRI has completely reformatted the Mobile Combustion tool to increase its functionality and ease-of-use. Revisions to the methodologies will begin over the coming months.
Public Sector Supplement to the Corporate Standard
WRI has continued to collaborate with its partners, especially the Logistics Management Institute, in developing a draft Supplement. It is anticipated that a first draft will be released at the end of 2008 for full review by the GHG Protocol team.
